Job Description

Working for a state of the art Manufacturing Research & Development facility in Coventry, which focus is to provide innovative manufacturing processes and technologies. This role in particular is for a Machine Vision Research Engineer join their Intelligent Automation theme.

The Role

You will develop the next generation of machine vision systems to be used within manufacturing in a wide range of applications.
Support technical delivery of ground-breaking projects that meet MTC`s quality assurance and health & safety standards;
Delivery of an order pipeline that grows the machine development and automation research theme activity within the MTC.
Develop & delivery of project proposals and develop new review project reports
To support the preparation of funding proposals (client, EU, UK Government) within automation.

The Person

Recent experience of successfully managing complex multi partner projects involving a wide range of machine vision and automation projects.
An excellent educational profile is ideal with a minimum of a degree in mechanical, robotics, computer science, manufacturing, aerospace engineering or automation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
