Job Description

A leading UK Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Technical Centre are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to aid in the upscaling of their R&D process. You will be involved in the design and implementation and upkeep of electrical control and instrumentation systems,

Commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Leicester, Birmingham

Salary: £ 49,000 - £ 56,000 p.a.

Suitable for: Controls Engineer, Senior Controls Engineer, Lead Controls Engineer

The Role

You will be involved with designing, developing and evaluating electronic systems and software.
Development of new products and supporting existing projects.
Working with the full lifecycle of projects from requirements capture, systems definition, through design, implementation, testing and commissioning.
Participate in the ordering of parts and control panel / control systems
Assist with any instrument / software configuration and development
Assist with electrical / control problems
Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments
Analysing and interpreting data

The Candidate

You must have relevant industrial experience of control systems engineering within a real time environment.
You must have experience of development using a formal design processes.
You must have practical development experience including fault finding experience of at least one PLC or embedded processor system.
You will be competent with SCADA programming
Have a good understanding of control systems design, testing & commissioning processes.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
