Job Description

A hugely successful specialist provider of bespoke solutions to the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join the commercial team. The role is permanent and requires regular travel to customers. Excellent progression on offer and superb benefits package.

The Role

The Technical Sales Engineer will support both new business and support for existing accounts including both partner/stakeholders and currently expanding customers. The Technical Sales Engineer will operate on a UK wide basis actively promoting the business service and product range and react to customer enquiries including quotation and forecasting activity. The role will entail a technically driven and consultancy-led approach using both engineering and commercial skill base.

The Person

Applicants will possess a proven background as a Technical Sales Engineer including both commercial and technical involvement in the sales process. You will be conversant with growing high profile customer accounts and be able to operate UK wide including overnight visits and regular client interaction. The Technical Sales Engineer must possess a strong appreciation of mechanical engineering and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and content. A level of ability on CAD packages is highly advantageous for the position.
