Job Description

A market leading special purpose machinery manufacturer for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industry are seeking a Software Engineer. You will have experience in writing software and programming for embedded controllers and SQL database development.

Commutable from: Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Ledbury, Pershore, Evesham, Droitwich Spa, Bidford-Upon-Avon, Upton – Upon-Severn

Salary £ 25,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. + Overtime + Pension

The Role

As a Software Engineer you will;

Writing and developing software for embedded controllers for special purpose automated machinery using Linux and windows-based systems.
Support in data/information acquisition and improving machine systems
Develop and maintain network and cloud-based SQL Databases
Provide technical and service support and writing user manuals.

The Person

As a Software Engineer you will be;

Educated to degree level in computer science or similar
Strong understanding of embedded software development
Interest in hardware and control systems
