Job Description

An Applications Engineer is required for a global business within the metrology and advanced inspection field, the role requires UK and European travel. You`ll have a strong background working within a similar role with experience working within the metrology and inspection industries.

Commutable from: Horsham, Worthing, Brighton, Eastbourne, Maresfield, Crawley, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sussex

Salary: Negotiable plus Car Allowance, Pension, Bonus

The Role

As the Applications Engineer you`ll report directly into the International Director & General Manger paying a keen role in supporting the businesses customers needs through training and technical assistance`s.
Ensuring continuous awareness of product changes, improvements and development of products throughout the company portfolio.
Deliver training courses on software based on metrology equipment and optical measurement equipment.
Covering the UK and Europe you`ll be responsible for supporting the customer needs when technical support is needed.

The Person

The Applications Engineer will possess a recognised mechanical engineering qualification with experience working within the metrology and inspections industries.
Ability to impart software based training to variety of audiences, with a background of using CAD software and CNC systems.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability manage your own time.
Flexibility is required to travel UK wide to support client requirements.
