Job Description

A global and very well-established manufacturer, supplying into revolutionary state of the art electric and hybrid commercial vehicles, are now seeking an Account Manager to develop key Truck, Bus and Commercial vehicle OEM accounts. Preferably degree qualified, technically minded (ideally electrical / mechanical) you will have had past exposure in Product management with a high level of commercial acumen.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Redditch, Alcester, Bromsgrove

Salary: £ 60,000 - £ 70,000 p.a. + Car Allowance, Bonus scheme and Flexible Working Hours

The Role

Working within a niche and specialist team that has received significant funding for a revolutionary and exciting project, you will be joining an embryonic team and play a pivotal part to the success within the development of the product. The successful Account Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the implementation of a detailed product and business strategy, to achieve significant profitable growth across a range of Truck / Bus and Commercial OEM accounts.

The position offers true growth and development prospects - steered very much by your input, the role will offer a genuine platform for progression within a market leading global provider.

The Person

Preferably degree qualified (although not essential) - the successful Account Manager will be technically minded with ideally past mechanical engineering exposure. Past experience from within Bus / Truck/ Commercial vehicles will be required, along with a demonstrable technical background in order to support and offer customers technical and commercial input. Due to the emergent stage of the project, the successful Account Manager will have drive for results, along with the ability to diversify across a range of roles / duties in order to achieve stringent milestones and deadlines.
