Job Description

An automotive engineering consultancy who are experiencing massive growth over the next few years, are seeking a Programme Manager to join the business in their Head Office location. The role has responsibility for the delivery of a range of complex and high exposure powertrain development projects

Commutable from: Warwick, Leamington, Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch

Salary: £ 70,000 - £ 80,000 p.a.

Suitable for: Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer

The Role

The Programme Manager will lead the delivery of powertrain projects, working closely with Chief Engineers.
The Programme Manager will be the key point of customer contact, managing customer expectations by consistently providing timely, high quality status information.
You will have responsibility for the management of cost and control budgets across multiple sites.
Leading the Engineering team by detailing cost and timing implications of changes.
Support the Quality system development, from a Project perspective.
Report project status to Senior Management team on a qualitative basis, providing insight into risks, emerging issues and the interventions required.
Develop junior members of the team.

The Candidate

The Programme Manager will have a proven ability to deliver multi-million pound projects to time and budget.
Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred.
Familiar with standard Microsoft office programs including project.
Extensive experience in Engineering, preferably within automotive.
Confident communicator both internally and to customers.
Ability to work across multiple projects and prioritise accordingly.
Results oriented.
Ideally the Programme Manager will have a Transmissions / hybrid EV background and a proven track record in delivery of electrified powertrain programmes
