Job Description

The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician. The purpose of the role is to assist the team in the upkeep of the MTC`s assets and buildings throughout the campus.

The Role

As the Mechanical & Electrical Technician you will be reporting to Team Management, and assisting other employees.
You will be looking after and maintaining the upkeep of the buildings and MTC grounds.
You will be making sure projects and inspections are carried out efficiently.
You will be carrying out Mechanical & Electrical maintenance and inspections across the campus

The Person

The ideal candidate for the Mechanical & Electrical Technician role will be someone with a minimum of two years experience within a facilities or estates role, having gained an apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. You will have good problem solving skills and be able to manage daily work loads.
