Job Description

A chilled food manufacturer has a requirement for a Forecast & Demand Manager. The role is responsible for stock level replenishment across all sites, aiming to implement a forecast of customer demand to assist the purchasing function.

Salary: £ 45,000 - £ 50,000 per year, generous pension contribution.

The role of Forecast & Demand Manager:

Manage stock replenishment teams across 3 sites in the UK
Ensure stock levels are maintained correctly
Liaise with sales to implement a forecast of customer demand to assist the purchasing function
Implement purchasing strategy
Liaise with sales to gather information to forecast, allowing purchasing to make more informed decisions
Control supply of stock ensuring sufficient resources to meet customers need for both manufactured and wholesale products
Develop the bespoke forecasting tool, testing any modifications/updates
Delegate workload in purchasing department

The ideal Forecast & Demand Manager:

Will have proven forecasting and planning experience
Ability to lead a strong team
Will be methodically minded
Excellent organisational skills
Strong English and Maths skills required
Will be passionate about food industry
Good communication skills and can work under pressure
