Job Description

A market leading British Engineering Company supplying high technology products to some of the most prestigious brands in the automotive sector are looking for an experienced Tooling Programme Manager due to an influx of exciting new projects. You will be required to effectively manage tooling specification, procurement and development.

Commutable from: Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Towcester, Aylesbury, Oxford, Banbury, Northampton, Dunstable

Salary: Highly competitive + Early finish Friday + 9% pension + 25 days holiday

The Role

As a Tooling Programme Manager, you will;
Report to the Engineering Director you will be required to manage the specification, procurement and manufacturing integration of new or replacement tooling to support new product introduction and provide ongoing technical support to the design and manufacturing teams.
Be responsible for project budgets, budget accuracy, timing and milestones and delivery of project requirements including changes, modification and corrections, improving tooling and manufacturing capabilities.

The Person

An experienced Tooling Programme Manager with;
time served apprenticeship or have a HND/BEng or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline as well as experience of high quality injection moulding tooling solutions, strong project management capabilities with good presentation and communication skills.
A background as a Tooling Engineer or Tooling Design Engineer or similar
Ability to demonstrate technical expertise in tool performance and maintenance standards and be able to identify effective cost saving solutions whilst negotiating effectively.
