Job Description

The UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) are currently recruiting a HR Officer to join the company. UKBIC are a leading Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Technical Centre located in the West Midlands. They aim to develop the next generation of battery systems across electrode, cell, module and pack levels to allow companies to move to full scale, high volume battery manufacturing.

Commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Leicester, Birmingham

Salary: £ 38,000 - £ 43,000 p.a. + Benefits.

Suitable for: HR Officer, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Officer, HR Project Manager.

The Role

As the HR Officer you will;
Working alongside the management team, you will ensure that HR fully serves the business needs, including people planning & resourcing, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, and employee relations.
Lead organisational development and change management initiatives across the business.
Support management team in the development of leadership and people management skills through coaching, engagement and development interventions, as appropriate.
Ensure smooth running of industrial relationships by acting as interface between management, employee representation and employees.
Co-ordinate training needs analysis and implementation to ensure that training and development interventions are prioritised to meet key business objectives within budget requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting on HR metrics, including, Recruitment efficiency, training efficiency, headcount and turnover figures, absenteeism etc.
The HR Officer will work with the Senior Management Team, support Health, Safety and Security policies and training to ensure compliance with regulations.

The Candidate

The HR Officer will be;
3+ years` experience within Human Resources
Ideally Degree educated in a recognised discipline in addition to CIPD status.
Experience within a manufacturing environment
The HR Office will have proven experience of handled recruitment exercises and managing the full recruitment process,
You will have delivered training and supported the administration of psychometric testing procedures.
