Job Description

A leading manufacturer of precision equipment is looking for a Product Development Manager. You will be responsible for effective management of product ranges and life cycle of product. You will be degree qualified within mechanical engineering with experience working within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Commutable from: Farnborough, Aldershot, Guilford, Reading, Camberley Woking, Bracknell, Surrey

Salary: Negotiable plus Pension, Commission, Bupa Healthcare and 33 days holidays

The Role

Reporting into General Manager, you`ll be responsible for effective management of product range life cycle, including the implementation of tactical activities and new products.
Develop and implement a creative approach for the development of products across the group.
Keep up to date with market updates and changes to maintain products are up to date.
Maintain regular communication with the design, development and production processes.
Always assessing and improving quality of products, including packaging on a regular basis.
As the Product Development Manager, you will also deal with all technical issues on Products.

The Person

Degree qualified within Mechanical Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background.
A background working within a fast paced and demanding engineering environment. Experience working within a similar product development role, ideally with precision engineering.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
