Job Description

The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a IT Security Manager. The purpose of the role is to take ownership of, grow and deliver the IT security function required to protect the reputation of the MTC, whilst allowing the business to deliver a world class service. Deputising for the IT Manager when required.

The Role

Line Management of the IT Security function and any other staff as required by the role.
Responsible for development and delivery of the Security component of the 5 year IT Strategy for MTG
Responsible for managing the security budgets (Capital and Operational)
Responsible for the delivery of the Operational day to day services provided by the Security Team
Responsible for the delivery of the security component of the IT Business Continuity plan
Responsible for the delivery of the Security components of the IT projects in order to deliver the 5 year strategy and to deliver the operational projects of the business.
Management of the /TSO function

The Person

Experienced professional, seeking out new technologies and challenges
Experience in development, deployment and management of IT Security systems and development of a SOC
Experience of: Risk Management, Requirements Capture, SIEM, Endpoint Security, Data Security, OLP, Multi Factor Authentication, Mobile Endpoint Security
Minimum 5 years working in the IT Security arena with responsibility for IT Security capability
Full British Driving Licence
