Key Account Manager - Food
A leading international manufacturer of Automation products, with a presence in nearly 80 countries is looking to recruit two Key Account Managers to join their expanding Sales team. The role will see win OEM business through achieving End User Specification. The ideal candidate will have experience of developing business through Specification sales.
Commutable from: Birmingham, Oxford, Manchester, Coventry, Leicester
Salary: Up to £ 50,000 p.a. + Car + Bonus (25%) + Private Healthcare + 25 days holiday

The role of the Key Account Manager is to develop a sales strategy with consideration of local customer requirements.
Ensure long-term sales development of targeted users to achieve preferred supplier status through relationship building and deep understanding of customer business Challenges & objectives.
Delivery of Engineering and Project Specification (CAPEX) or a formalised engineering agreement.
Sales budget, growth and market share gain
Produce, implement and maintain Account Development plans for sufficient accounts such that personal targets be achieved
Establish external network to customers key decision maker & influencers and ensure contact network is developed fully.
Establish and lead UK & global information exchange (projects, solutions, success stories, improvement reports)
To coordinate the activities to make sure they are in line with the business plan, using established tools
Ensure remaining potential (competitor business) is aggressively targeted
Identify, qualify and register all new investment projects, outlining investment timeline, OEM`s & project contacts.
Maintain accurate, current and relevant records, as requested, on such systems as are provided
Submit call data for all customer-related activity on Sales Connect after each call.
Communicate all sales related instructions to Sales Management and Head Office via the correct process
Ideally the candidate will hold an engineering qualification
Candidate for the Key Account Manager role must have experience of specification sales
Experience of working across industries would be advantageous
Ideally the candidate will have worked in the Automation industry before
Must have a valid UK Driving license
Business development of key accounts is needed
