Job Description

Precision engineering business in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager. The Commercial Manager will develop sales and commercial activities in line with business objectives to help grow both new business and strengthen existing accounts. This is a permanent position offering excellent development.

Commutable from: Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham

Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. + Pension

The Role

With travel required to customer and partner sites, the Commercial Manager will support the landing and development of new business being a pro-active ambassador for the businesses products and services in the engineering market place. The Commercial Manager will lead account development initiatives and support effective delivery on contracts and customer service/service level agreements. The Commercial Manager will also ensure that contracts and transactions are delivered within a compliant and equitable manner.

The Person

The Commercial Manager will possess a skill base within engineering and a proven record within sales and commercial activity ideally having sold and delivered products into the industrial, aerospace, automotive or defence sectors. A high level of experience managing Service Level Agreements and contracts is desirable in addition to a high level of commercial acumen to seek out and develop new business opportunities for the organisation.
