Job Description

A manufacturer of precision components to the aerospace and defence sector is currently a Quality Inspector to work on a contract basis. Applicants must have a good understanding of aerospace standards, associated documentation and visual inspection.

Commutable from: Warrington, Liverpool, Chester, St Helens, Wigan, Crewe, Stockport.

Rate: £ 12.00 - £ 16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Suitable for: Quality Inspector, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician, Inspector, Inspection, NDT Inspector, CMM Inspector.

The Role & Candidate

Working as part of the quality team you will be tasked with verifying products and parts manufactured meet with customer requirements and regulations. The position entails ensuring regular and appropriate testing and inspection of the final product prior to release to customer.

Candidates must be able to read customer drawings, be conversant with standard gauging equipment and dimensional inspection. Proven experience working within a fast paced engineering is preferable.

Key responsibilities:
Carry out visually inspection of manufactured parts
Investigating reasons for manufacturing problems, rejects and quality issues
Assisting in the improvement of the company`s quality system
Initiating disciplined problem solving for quality concerns
Assisting with general site audits and assessments as required.
