Apprentice Programme Manager
An Apprentice Programme Manager is needed to join a new state of the art training centre. The Manufacturing Technology Centre is collaborating with the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) to train and develop apprentices in a brand new purpose built training academy in Oxfordshire.
Courses will be delivered by the MTC, replicating the industry-leading Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre on the MTC campus in Coventry. The AMTC has rapidly built a reputation for equipping apprentices not only with core engineering skills but also the latest advanced manufacturing techniques. The environment is both dynamic and engaging, supporting the next generation of highly skilled and agile Engineers.
Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking an Apprentice Programme Manager. The purpose of the role is to lead the design, development and delivery of this industry leading programme.
The Apprentice Programme Manager will be responsible for:
Design, development and delivery of the OAS training programmes.
Management of the apprentice training team covering Senior Trainers, Apprentice Trainers, Instructional Designers and Workshop Support Technicians.
Engage with marketing, recruitment/ placement leaders to support the growth of the programme to 300+ by 2022.
Ensure the quality of training provision.
Develop relationships with customers to support growth of OAS and accommodate for new modules and courses to deliver.
Responsibility and management of budget for OAS delivery.
Creating reports aligned to the apprentice programme performance and effectiveness.
Responsible for the running of the OAS building.
The successful candidate for the Apprentice Programme Manager will have 10 years experience in a similar role.
A background in setting up and growing training programmes.
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to manage and lead a team to a high quality standard.
