Job Description

A multi site agricultural manufacturer are looking for a Maintenance Technician to working on a days shift pattern. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on a new CHP facility. You will have a multi skilled engineering background with experience working on CHP plants or high pressure boilers.

Commutable from: Chesterfield, Lincoln, Mansfield, Worksop, Newark, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £ 33,000 to £ 38,000 p.a. plus pension, health care, free car parking, 20 days holidays

The Role

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you`ll be responsible for conducting routine, reactive and pre planned maintenance on CHP facility.
Recognising faults, organising and carrying out necessary repairs, ensuing that all faults are logged and reported.
Support fellow Engineers with technical support and breakdowns on equipment.
Maintaining a clean safe plant conduction and working to health & safety standards.

The Person

As the Maintenance Technician you`ll be Apprentice trained within mechanical or electrical engineering with experience and skills on SCADA systems and PLC`s.
A background of working within a power plant environment, with strong knowledge of high pressure boilers, turbines, pumps and motors.
Experience working within a FMCG/Food manufacturing environment.
Confident in conducting electrical audits, with the ability to communicate effectively.
