Job Description

An Engineering Company supplying components to some big names in British manufacturing are seeking a Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising production within the assembly process or moulding team. You will have experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing assembly or injection moulding environment.

Commutable from: Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Towcester, Aylesbury, Oxford, Banbury, Northampton, Dunstable

Salary: £ 35,000 p.a. + Shift Premium + 33 days Holiday + Pension + Early finish Friday + Free Parking

Suitable for: Production Supervisor, Production Co-ordinator, Production Team Leader, Assembly Team leader

The Role

Responsibilities as a Production Supervisor;
Provide supervision of the Production activities and be fully aware of all departmental systems and processes
Actively participate in the quality, operational and environmental systems.
Management of direct operator`s attendance and absence.
Monitor and manage production output and material scrap.
Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
Provide adequate information, instruction, training and supervision for all employees on the shift.

The Person

Production Supervisor required skills and experience;
Previous experience at a supervisory level for a minimum of two years.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as 5S.
Experience in a fast-paced production environment ideally in plastic component manufacture or assembly.
