Project Management Officer
Part of a global network this market leading organisation is currently recruiting a Project Management Officer (PMO) with experience in either facilities, construction or civil engineering. You will support the delivery of projects and programmes through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Commutable from: Bristol, Bath, Stroud, Newport, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Swindon.
Contract rate: £ 24 - £ 32 per hour
Suitable for: PMO, Project Management Officer, Project Planner, Programme planner, Project administrator, Project coordinator, Project co-ordinator OR Project planning, Work Planner
Supporting the programme managers by implementing and managing effective control processes at all stages of the project lifecycle; including documentation register, change control, project plans, resource profiles and risk registers.
Producing status reports for weekly management or team meetings to facilitate fact-based decision making for TPMs
Maintaining active risk registers throughout the project lifecycle
Carrying out general administration activities to support the TPM including meeting coordination and quarterly review preparation
Providing information to internal and external meetings as required, understanding who the stakeholders are and actively engaging and communicating with them.
Experience in either facilities, construction or civil engineering.
NVQ level 4 business administration, or equivalent on the job experience
Experience of working within a project management team
Extensive experience in the use of MS Office; particularly Excel, Project and PowerPoint
Proven experience managing large amounts of project financial data in a complex environment.
