Job Description

The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Management Accountant. The purpose of the role is to work within the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centre (AMTC) where you will assist the Finance Manager and help maintain effective control over the company`s financial reporting systems and procedures to enable the production of accurate and relevant management information.

The Role

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for month end tasks including balance sheet reconciliation, accruals and prepayments
P&L responsibilities include ensuring monthly P&Ls are accurate, produce monthly finance packs and supporting department management in finance reviews
You will also assist with forecasting and budgets including reconciliation of sales revenue aligned to apprentice levy, accurate reporting of monthly sales, assisting with the preparation of year-end audit and performance of other financial and administrative and ad hock tasks as required

The Person

The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant position is someone who is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with high attention to detail and the confidence to exchange with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
