Job Description

A large castings manufacturer has a requirement for a Master Scheduler, to join there expanding operations team in Kent, to do their production and capacity plan. The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Production Planner.

Commutable from: Kent, Sittingbourne, Maidstone, Rochester, Rainham, Faversham, Canterbury, Blean.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year, pension scheme, holiday, bonus and progression opportunity

Suitable for: Master Scheduler, Master Planner, Production Scheduler, Production Planner, Master Production Scheduler, MPS, capacity planner, resource planner, production coordinator, production controller, supply chain controller, supply chain lead, factory planner.

The role of Master Planner / Scheduler:

Will manage full master resource and capacity plan
Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
Schedule shift according to production needs
Ensure jobs finish on time and within budget
Able to submit status reports and performance reports

The person:

Proven experience as a Production Planner
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control methods
Ideally have experience in working MRP systems
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
Strong analytically at maths and statistics
Strong organisational skills and problem solving
Excellent communication ability at all levels
