Job Description

A new technology centre, in receipt of considerable government funding are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for the operation of a section of high-tech process equipment. The suitable candidate will have previous SCADA and HMI experience.

Commutable from: Warwick, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Birmingham.

Salary: £ 38,000 - £ 44,000 p.a. plus benefits

Suitable for: Maintenance Fitter, Controls Technician, Controls Fitter, Maintenance Technician

The Role

The role of Maintenance Technician will:
Ensure routine preventative maintenance activities are carried out as per the schedule.
Respond to technical issues / breakdowns ensuring quality and production is maintained.
Assist with ensuring equipment meets International Health and Safety standards.
Lead response to any PLC related issues and be responsible for Machine software.
Suggest and Implement continuous improvement of equipment and processes.

The Candidate

The suitable candidate for Maintenance Technician will have:
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Ability to follow, fault find and modify PLC, HMI and SCADA software.
Experience working as part of a small cross functional team.
Previous experience of structured problem solving, able to lead the problem-solving activity.
Experience of operating and maintaining complex machinery.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Self-supervising within the guidance and expectations of management.
