Job Description

A well renowned food manufacturer are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a continental shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off). You`ll have a strong engineering back ground with experience working within Food/FMCG manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Cheshire, Northwich, Knutsford, Winsford, Nantwich, Crewe

Salary: £ 38,000 - £ 41,000 p.a. plus, Overtime, Pension and 20 days holidays, Health Cash Plan

The Role

A hands-on role resolving immediate problems to ensure continuity of production and limitation of waste or damaged product
Proactively identify and problem solve on plant to increase reliability and efficiency
Document all breakdowns and repairs into the shared computer system
Utilise the planned preventative maintenance system ensuring all production equipment is maintained regularly
Assist with project work when requested by senior engineers
Carry out route cause analysis into all breakdowns ensuring technical investigations are carried out
Work safely at all times using the correct PPE

The Person

Will have experience working in a bakery environment or at least a food manufacturing environment, and ideally will have worked with PLC`s, belts, ovens and mixers.
ONC/HNC/HND Qualified with Engineering, with at least three years` experience working with Food/FMCG manufacturing environment.
Ability to diagnose and repair faults on electrical, mechanical, manufacturing tools and techniques.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
