Job Description

A manufacturer supplying innovate composite components to the aerospace sector is recruiting for a Materials Test Engineer to join their development team.You will be responsible for testing, development and validating composite materials to be used on new products and writing test reports on findings.

Commutable from: Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester, Hinckley, Rugby, Tamworth.

Salary: Dependent on experience + life assurance + 33 days holiday + pension

Suitable for: Test Engineer, Development Engineer, Test & Development Engineer, Test Engineer, Verification Engineer, R & D Engineer

The Role

Responsibilities as a Test Engineer;

Conducting Design verification test programs to validate new products
Conducting testing - Tensile testing, compression, flex-testing, shear and tensiometer
Writing test plans
Provide feedback on test results to the project teams and assist in resolving test failures
Compiling test reports in accordance with the company and customers` requirements.
Feedback test results to the project teams to assist resolving issues during the testing process

The Person

Test Engineer required skills and experience;

Engineer with experience testing a variety of materials, ideally composites.
Materials Testing experience in a laboratory environment
