Job Description

Manufacturer of both first and second tier products to the global automotive sector across Europe is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer on a contract or interim basis to support the current Manufacturing Engineering team with manufacturing processes, process layout and new projects.

Commutable from: Cardiff, Newport, Blackwood, Merthyr Tydfil

Salary: £ Negotiable Hourly Rate

Suitable for: Manufacturing Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Senior Manufacturing Engineer

The Role

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for managing external suppliers of tooling and machines, as well as to specify and realise the manufacturing processes by using the most appropriate technology. Other duties include conducting capacity analysis for capital equipment needs as well as liaising with external suppliers and customers.

The Person

Experience in tier 1 Automotive industry is essential, as well as good knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering processes
