Job Description

A world leader in diesel fuel injection test equipment is looking for a Quality Manger to join their team in Buckingham. The Quality Manager will be a member of the sites Management team having responsibility for supporting the leadership and management of the Quality agenda.

Commutable from: Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Bletchley, Banbury.

Salary: £ 40,000 p.a. - £ 45,000 p.a.

Suitable for: Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Head of Quality.

The Role

The Quality Manager will be responsible for:
Quality control for day to day build of products
Quality control for New Product Introduction (APQP)
Define and execute continuous improvement loop from Customer Support team back to Engineering and Operations functions (including production, test bay, packing)
Own 8D process and address all non-conforming issues through to resolution
Run the internal & external ISO quality audits - ISO 14001, 2008 & 2015 standard
Conduct SQA visits suppliers & internal operational audits
Manage Measures of Performance (MOPs) to assess cost of quality, both internally and at suppliers.

The Person:

The Quality Manager will have:
Understanding of quality tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Concessions)
ISO 14001, 2008 & 2015 standard experience
PC literate (Microsoft office)
