Business Development Manager - Automotive
A leading international manufacturer of Automation products, with a presence in nearly 80 countries is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager. The role will see increasing market share within the sector through identifying new market opportunities, new customers, products and business within the constant evolving automotive sector. The ideal individual will ideally have experience in the Automation and Automotive sectors.
Commutable from: Reading, Newbury, Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Newport, Cardiff.
The role is national and very much face-to-face. There is notable bias of opportunity within the Central Band of England Location between M4 M62
Salary: Up to £ 55,000 p.a. + Car + Bonus up to 25% + Private Healthcare + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

The role of Business Development Manager, with the assistance of the Industries Development Manager, is to primarily develop business via a consultative, technical sales approach for the defined customers & research establishment within the sector. To develop and implement a new business development strategy based upon comprehensive understanding of the customers` business and product needs. As well as the development of robust professional relationships with the key customer staff.
The ideal Business Development Manager will be from a successful background working across the automotive and automation sector, or an individual with a proven personal track record of success within large accounts and understanding with demonstrable use of the value-selling process with a true desire to embrace business development opportunities. A real plus would be a working knowledge of the work being undertaken in the EV sector in particular.
