Job Description

Specialist business supplying a wide range of sectors with precision-machined and fully inspected components is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with multi-axis milling and turning experience to support a recent influx of new projects and exciting developments in the group.

Commutable from: Coventry, Rugby, Leicester, Northampton

Salary: £ 20,000 - £ 23,000 p.a. + Paid Overtime + Pension

The Role

The CNC Machinist is a permanent role offering excellent career progression and training in addition to an exciting volume of new and existing projects. The role is focused on the machining using up to 5 axis machining centres of precision engineered components for the industrial sector and the aerospace and automotive industries. The CNC Machinist will operate and set milling and turning centres including some programming functions and measurement of parts using manual and CMM tools where applicable, supported by a quality inspection team.

The Person

The successful applicant for the position of CNC Machinist, will possess ideally a time-served engineering background with a recognised apprenticeship in engineering. You will be able to set and operate milling and turning centres and able to carry out manual inspection of components and some basic CMM level functions. The interview process involve a face to face interview and discussion around a technical drawing.
