Job Description

A market leading British Engineering Company supplying high technology products to some of the most prestigious brands in the automotive sector are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector on a six month fixed term contract due to an influx of exciting new projects. You will have experience in visual inspection and within quality assurance.

Commutable from: Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Towcester, Aylesbury, Oxford, Banbury, Northampton, Dunstable

Salary: £10 - £15 per hour + pension + holiday + potential to go permanent

Suitable for: Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Inspector, Shift Technician, Quality Technician

The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for;

Assessment of products on the production line and at the end of the production process for visual inspection failures, categorising failure modes, feeding back issues to the manufacturing team and raising quality alerts
Analysis of customer warranty returns
Analysis of customer goods in rejected products
Inspection of outgoing material when required
Collect non-conforming material from customer when required
Product audits
Control non-conforming parts and manage scrap/rework as required
Provide details and accurate analysis reports
Management training of end of line Inspectors
Working a set morning shift pattern Monday to Friday

The Person

An experienced Quality Inspector;

Experience in Quality assurance and visual inspection
Strong communication skills
Working knowledge of excel
Quality problem solving knowledge.
