A global manufacturer of complex assemblies to the Aerospace industry has a new vacancy for a Manufacturing Engineer. With experience of working in a complex manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for supporting existing & new products, defining new & supporting with existing processes and helping lead with continuous improvement projects.

Reporting to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer your role will be to support with the day to day Operations on site.
Provide day to day support to manufacturing operations Lead structured problem solving projects linked to day-day manufacturing issues (scrap reduction, etc) Work with manufacturing cell leaders, lean co-ordinators and design engineers to improve process efficiencies. Support continuous improvement activities across the site. Provide technical & engineering support to manufacturing processes Ensure engineering and quality requirements are fully understood and met Implement / maintain manufacturing documentation. Create/Implement problem resolution and development plans. Initiate and/or lead improvement projects and CAPEX to enable new processes and product introductions.
An experienced Manufacturing Engineer you will have experience developing new process methods, driving continuous improvement activities, previous experience or NPI, using problem solving techniques (5 Why`s, Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams, 8D) and have experience working in the aerospace (or similar) sector. Candidates will ideally have a Degree in a relevant area of expertise and the ability to communicate at all levels within the business.
