A UK leading supplier of high-integrity aerospace battery systems and surrounding technologies is currently looking for a Battery Test Engineer. They are now looking to expand their team to deliver exciting new projects.

As the Battery Test Engineer, you will be responsible for; Author Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and Development Verification Plans (DVPs) Create testing activity risk assessments Coordinate and support testing activities at 3rd party facilities Analyse and interpret test results, including root cause analysis
The Battery Test Engineer must have; Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar, or relevant HND with significant work experience Experience in lithium-ion cell and battery testing Experience working with batteries up to 1000 V Awareness of RTCA DO-160, DO-167, DO-178, DO-216, DO-254, DO-311A, DO-347, etc Awareness of UN DOT 38.3, UNECE R100, LV123, and ISO 6469-3 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A self-starter, with a can-do attitude, and the ability to integrate into a small team Full UK driving license Flexibility to travel, both domestic and international A desire to accelerate the electrification of flight
