An international manufacturer of Factory Automation solutions, with over 20,000 employees worldwide is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager. The role will see you develop and maintain relationships within strategic accounts to maximise and secure profitable sales. You will have a technical background with experience selling services.
Salary: Up to £ 40,000 to £ 50,000 p.a. + Car + Bonus + Healthcare + Pension + Benefits
To achieve all targets and objectives according to the approved business plan, personal and team balanced score cards (BSC). You`ll provide sales projections based on the most up to date knowledge of their customers and market on a regular basis in accordance with the format and accuracy requirements defined by the manager. The Business Development Manager must formulate realistic annual and medium-term business plans for strategic accounts and specialisation area. To achieve the target level of sales activities in accordance with business development goals for designated strategic accounts within specialisation area including data as defined by the manager and in the required format. To acquire the knowledge that is necessary to develop business according to company objectives and share any knowledge that would enable company to achieve competitive advantages in the market. To assist the Senior Management Team in the investigation of new or major market opportunities. To adopt the relevant competency model as personal development focus continually increasing skills, knowledge and attitudes.
To apply for the Business Development Manager role, ideally HNC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Ability to carry out TNA skills assessment. Ideally experience working within the process industry Good technical understanding of process control Ability to demonstrate success in a previous relevant external sales position. Experience of selling into OEMs
