The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking an IT Services Manager. The purpose of the role is to lead the MTC IT service provision in this challenging environment. The MTC has a main site at Coventry, and additional sites at Liverpool and Oxford.
This position is open to both Permanent and Contract hires as necessary in order to obtain the right candidate.

The IT Services Manager will lead the IT service provision including IT procurement and supplier management.
The role encompasses:
Leadership of the IT service delivery capability, including managers and staff within. Development and contribution to the MTC`s IT service delivery strategy. Responsibility for establishing and monitoring of IT budgets both capital and operational. Planning and delivering IT connectivity solutions within new and revised workspaces. Support and maintenance of the IT business continuity plan.
The successful candidate for the IT Services Manager role will possess the following attributes:
Enthusiastic and experienced IT leader including management of IT teams and the associated resources and budgets. Excellent communication and project management skills including working collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Project management experience within an IT context Team management experience including talent development and performance management. Strong customer service ethos.
