Due to the award of a number of new innovate projects a leading consultancy has a new vacancy for a Senior Systems Engineer. Working on high profile programmes you be involved from concept through to delivery and will be responsible for the development of electrical & electronic systems designs.

One of the UK‘s leading consultancies specialising in EV technologies has recently won a number of new innovative programmes, due to the growth they are recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer join the team.
Responsibilities will include:
Define component level requirements to define internal departments/external supplier technical deliverables.
Development of electrical & electronic systems designs
Work with key stakeholders to understand customer and project requirements
Support reliability and safety analysis
Interface between software and hardware engineers to support system design
Perform & support the development of test plans, test cases & validation
Work with suppliers to ensure that requirements, timescales and costs targets are achieved
Ensure project documentation is correctly managed, maintained and released in line with company processes and standards
Conduct appropriate analysis (use cases, sequence diagrams, simulations, state machines etc.) for defining system behaviour and deriving functional requirements
Define Logical architectures to support the allocation of feature/functions
A degree or relevant qualification in an engineering discipline
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Experience working in the automotive sector with familiarity of spice and systems engineering processes from requirements validation, through to system verification.
Proven experience of system design
A strong sound understanding of engineering, physics and applied mathematics and their application to solving real world problems
