The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. The purpose of the role is to be the main point of contact for managers and staff on all matters relating to employment in defined areas of the business including engineering, support departments and industrial sectors.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the HR Business Partner will support the MTC‘s objective of creating a highly engaging culture of creativity, inspiration and continuous improvement, based on mutual respect and understanding for colleagues and stakeholders.
As part of the role you will:
Partner senior managers in identifying high potential individuals, developing and providing suitable opportunities for development and progression.
Provision of advice relating to employment law issues.
Support management team in the implementation and evaluation of employee engagement survey and action planning to continuously measure and improve employee engagement and raise operational performance.
Work collaboratively with management to identify training needs and create solutions that are commercially focused and align to the people and business plan.
Work collaboratively with management and talent team in development and delivery of a clear manpower and succession plan, providing capable, skilled and motivated people.
Advise and support management team with complex people issues.
Undertake specific HR projects, providing effective project planning to ensure delivery on time and to the required standard, as and when required.
Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on opportunities, risks and possible people and business impacts of decisions.
Tracking HR‘s agreed KPI‘s in regard to their client areas, identifying trends and using data to inform decision making.
The successful candidate for the HR Business Partner position will possess the following attributes:
Degree calibre and/or professional HR qualification such as CIPD.
Experience using HR ERP systems
Up to date knowledge and practical experience with all aspects of employment law and UK best practice
Experienced in providing advice to managers and employees at all levels
Good numeracy skills: confident working with numbers and data
Computer literate particularly with MS Office.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above
Strong presentation skills
