An leading manufacturer of complex assemblies has a new vacancy for a Quality Technician. Working at their state of the art facility you will focus on NPI and supporting the performance of the organisation and its suppliers. Candidates are sought with experience working in a quality engineering capacity in complex manufacturing.

 

 

Commutable from: Warwick, Leamington, Spa, Coventry, Birmingham, Banbury, Stratford.

 

Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 35,000 p.a. + benefits

 

Suitable for: Quality Engineer, Quality Technician, SQE, Quality Assurance Engineer.

 

 

The Role

 

Working for a global leader in their field, you will conduct NPI activities with both suppliers and internal stakeholders of the company. You will be responsible for providing ongoing support, maintaining and developing the performance of both the organisation its suppliers by correlating and presenting supplier, internal, customer and warranty data.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Support project meetings with the organisation and suppliers

Complete all stock control activities to ensure cost recovery

Escalating issues that impact on program deliverables

Collate and analyse internal Quality performance as detailed in the companies site metrics to support PQA Engineering

Supporting inspection and test status requirements defined by regulations, engineering product specifications and product approval

Maintain and compile supplier performance data to support supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues

 

 

The Person

 

An experienced quality professional you will have a background in either automotive or aerospace Quality Assurance Engineering. You will ideally be educated to HNC level in a related engineering discipline and also have an understanding of either casting, pressing, harnesses or electronics. You will have a basic understanding of ISO9001 and must have proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to support a cross functional team where required.
