The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Senior Transformation Advisor - Construction to join the Business Transformation Team. You will be working with manufacturing to understand current and future state financial and manufacturing operations performance using assessment and mapping tools, and capture opportunities for technology insertion to support the business growth strategy.

The Senior Transformation Advisor - Construction will be delivering work packages from the resulting Transformation Roadmap which prepare the business for technology insertion to include:
Manufacturing Operational Efficiency improvements.
Business Process Re-engineering for Innovation.
Defining capability enhancement.
Coaching and Mentoring
Supply Chain assessments
There is a particular requirement currently for a Senior Advisor with experience in both the Manufacturing and Construction Sectors, with a particular interest in Modern Methods of Construction including off site manufacturing.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Carrying out a Discovery process using the MTC Technology Transformation Programme (TTP):
Using assessment and mapping tools to define current state business performance.
Running workshops to identify technology opportunities to support strategic growth.
Evaluating opportunities to define work packages with clear value propositions.
Support the technology themes with your experience and knowledge of industry gain within multiple sectors
Delivering non-technical work packages to prepare the business for technology insertion, on time and to budget following a defined project management and governance process to ensure delivery excellence:
Manufacturing process improvements.
Manufacturing cost reduction.
Business Process re-engineering
Culture and Leadership Development
Senior Advisors also play a key role in supporting the Technology Themes in work packages to develop the technology solutions.
The successful candidate for the role of Senior Transformation Advisor - Construction will possess the following attributes:
High level of industrial experience gained in senior leadership positions.
Experience in delivering measurable change in SMEs in a consultancy capacity.
Experience in improving supply chain.
Skills set including, lean operations, strategy creation and deployment, supply chain development and culture change.
A BSc / BEng degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Business based subject.
