A leading manufacturer of complex components for the automotive, electrification and rail sectors is seeking an experienced and qualified Production Planning Manager to join the team. Working on a permanent basis, you will provide the leadership on all production planning matters.

Salary: £ Negotiable + Car Allowance + Pension + Bonus
Leading the Production Planning function for this successful manufacturing business, you will ensure effective management of the production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure that the business has the production Bills of Materials and items in place to meet production requirements.
You will lead, coach and manage a team of supply chain focused professionals supporting their work on both the ongoing production work and the pending new product introductions. This business is undergoing a significant level of diversification within its product range and you will play an active role in adapting the business to accommodating these changes.
The Production Planning Manager will support the overall development of the ERP system and ensure stock accuracy, accurate inventory management and manage the materials, planning and logistics budgets for the function.
The Production Planning Manager will possess recognised experience in manufacturing logistics ideally within an automotive, rail or multi-sector manufacturing environment producing complex components or systems.
You will be conversant within managing production activity within an ERP/MPR driven environment and be able to handle and manage production and component data.
The Production Planning Manager will ideally possess a degree or equivalent qualification and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement throughout their career history.
