A leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for an Finance and HR Assistant. Working in the accounts and HR department you will produce reports, support the management accountant, ensure documentation is controlled and databases kept up to date. This is initially a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

 

 

Commutable from: Runcorn, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlewich, Northwich, St Helens, Warrington, Salford, Stockport.

 

Salary: £ 20,000 p.a. - £ 24,000 p.a. (FTC) + benefits 

 

Suitable for: Account Assistant, Finance Assistant, Business Administrator, Finance Administrator, HR Administrator.

 

 

The Role

 

The key functions of this role are to support both the Accounts & HR department with administrative duties. You will be a main point of contact for the sales team ensuring inventories are reconciled and reporting the Management Accountant.

 

Responsibilities will include:

Discount letter issue & set-up within Oracle

Production of Daily Order Intake report

Production of Daily OPI report

Inventory cost roll-ups within Oracle

Inventory Daily Monitoring & weekly reporting

Cycle Count monitoring and authorisation

Weekly WIP job close within Oracle

Weekly Metrics board preparation & display

Assist with overhead analysis

Potential to support Management Accountant on assessing project margins

Assist with production of daily gross margin report

HR administration support - prepare offer letters, contract of employment, reference requests, maintenance of personnel files, updating and maintenance of HR system and recruitment system

Preparation of weekly payroll

Stock Takes and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Assist with overhead analysis and support inventory analysis when required 

 

 

The Person

 

With a proven experience in accounts administration or finance administration you must be able to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment and have strong Excel skills including vlook ups and pivot tables.

 

The successful applicant will be able to prioritise workload, communicate effective and have a strong attention to detail.
