Consilium Recruit are partnered with Bystronic to support with the recruitment of 2 x Technical Support Coordinators for the Midlands region. The positions are office-based and operate as the point of contact between customers and Bystronic on technical, service and maintenance activities.

The Technical Support Coordinator is a permanent role centred around providing excellent customer advice and support on technical and service scheduling. You will triage initial customer enquiries to decide the appropriate actions and escalations and wherever possible use expert advice to solve issues over the phone if possible.
In some instances, the Technical Support Coordinator will be able to access customer feeds remotely to support and in others you raise work for the Service team to visit the customer.
The role enquires excellent customer manner and keen attention to detail, you will provide clear and achievable recommendations to customers and ensure that jobs raised are followed up appropriately including allocation of parts, engineers and visits booked successfully.
The Technical Support Coordinator will possess a proven customer support background from a technical perspective ideally developed within an engineering or IT field. You will possess the ability to diagnose issues using the training and toolkit provided and demonstrate a calm and supportive manner to the customer.
You will have previous experience in issuing parts and spares in a technical environment and be ideally exposed to PLC, CNC, Press Brake or Laser machinery in your earlier career history. The role offers excellent progression and development, alongside an excellent training plan.
