The Role    

Duties and responsibilities of the Assembly Technician role include:

• Carry out mechanical assembly operations

• Machine operation

• Operation of manufacturing/research processes

• General maintenance and troubleshooting

• Liaising with engineers to resolve any issues 

• Compliant to housekeeping rules.

The Person

The successful candidate for the role of Assembly Technician will have/be:

• Experience in a Mechanical Assembly

• Modelling or CAD experience

• Hand tool or workshop experience is desirable

• Sound engineering knowledge desirable

• Forklift Truck license desirable

• Good proactive, problem-solving attitude

• Understanding of quality requirements

• Be willing and prepared to apply for DV security clearance.
