Job Description

Market leading multinational first tier automotive components designer, developer and manufacturer are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to maintain plant, equipment and facilities. You will be multi-skilled biased with a recognised qualification, and ideally past automotive experience.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Redditch, Solihull, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield

Salary: £ 38,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. Double day shift

Suitable for: Maintenance Technician, Process Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Process Engineer

The Role

The main purpose of the position will be to ensure all production lines achieve their deliverables through effective breakdown and planned maintenance schedules.

The Person

You will have ideally served apprenticeship with relevant engineering qualifications. Experience within
a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment (Automotive would be preferable). Any exposure to ABB, Kuka, Fanuc and Motoman robot systems, PLC based equipment (basic fault finding level) or working within a metals based industry would be advantageous. Must have good fault finding ability.
