Job Description

A large aerospace manufacturing company based in Worcestershire has a requirement for a Master Planner. This position is suitable for candidates who have manufacturing experience from the automotive or aerospace industry.

Commutable from: Worcestershire, Studley, Redditch, Alcester, Worcester, Birmingham, Solihull, Droitwich-Spa, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, and Birmingham

Salary: £ 35,000 - £ 40,000 per year, progression opportunities and pension contribution.

Suitable for: Master planner, master production scheduler, master scheduler, production scheduler, scheduler, production planner, senior production planner, senior planner, capacity planner.

The Role of Master Planner

Long range and production planning
Inventory reduction
Improve SIOP process
Create master production schedule for plant
Maintain Bill of Material accuracy and MRP compliance
Ensure effective MRP plan leading to robust production plan

The Person

Will be methodically minded
Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes
Experience in MPS (master production scheduling)
Knowledge of setting up production planning systems
Advanced user of Excel, vlookups, pivot tables, macros
Ability to learn manufacturing systems for capacity planning
Excellent organisational skills
Strong English and Maths skills required
Good communication skills and can work under pressure
