Job Description

A rapidly expanding manufacturer of precision components has a new vacancy for a CMM Operator. Ensuring components meet with customer specifications you will have previous experience working on CMM machines and be able to work a double day shift Monday to Friday.

Commutable from: Bromsgrove, Redditch, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Henley in Arden, Solihull, Droitwich.

Salary: £ 22,000 - £ 28,000 p.a. + benefits + shift allowance + pension

The Role

As a CMM Operator you will be responsible for ensuring safe operation of CMM machines ensuring product quality and batch traceability is maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities include:
Measuring components in line with customer requirements
Supporting New Product Introduction
Carrying out routine checks on all equipment
Ensure all documentation is recoded accurately as defined by procedures
Calibration of gauges and fixtures
Operating various CMM machines, you will utilise software such as PCDMIS

The Person

Previous experience in the operation of CMM equipment is essential along with a background in quality control and precision engineering.
