Job Description

Due to continued growth and expansion a leading manufacturer of precision components is currently recruiting a Conformance Engineer. The role will combine quality and manufacturing engineering to resolve complex product processes ensuring products meet with customer expectations.

Commutable from: Bromsgrove, Redditch, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Henley In Arden, Solihull, Droitwich.

Salary: £ 34,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. + pension + early finish Fridays + 33 days holiday (incl bank holidays).

Suitable For: Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, NPI Engineer, Production Engineer, Conformance Engineer, Process Engineer.

The Role

As Conformance Engineer the responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and improving performance metrics.
Supporting material review boards.
Enabling support to SQDCP
Reduction of concession applications.
Problem solving resolution.
Working to best practice blue print processes and copying across.
Eradicating process variability and implementing SPC
Continuous product and process improvement.
Developing NPI products alongside validation portfolios in a cross functional team framework.
Developing capital requirements where necessary to succeed in objectives.
Participate and lead structured problem-solving activities disseminating to operations

The Person

Manufacturing engineering and/or quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
HNC/ONC qualification preferred but not essential if relevant experience can be demonstrated
You will have a logical approach to continuous improvement and proven track record of delivering change
