Job Description

A pioneering and innovative engineering organisation that are currently developing ground-breaking technologies are seeking a Design Engineer to join their team. You will play a key role in the design and styling of new hybrid/electric vehicles using CREO (ISDX)

Commutable from: Warwick, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Redditch

Salary: £ 35 p/h - £ 40 p/h (3 Month Contract)

Suitable for: Design Engineer, Industrial Design Engineer, Surface Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer.

The Role

As the Design Engineer, you will be expected to be able to perform key roles to ensure that the company continues to remain competitive in the development of new vehicle technologies for future vehicle platforms, thus contributing to the success and quality of all new vehicles.
The key responsibilities of the roles that you are expected to do are, but are not limited to:

You will be producing freeform surface design solutions using CREO (ISDX)
You will liaise with departments and suppliers to gain the necessary data to achieve design specifications
You will be familiar with working to strict project timelines and deliverables.
You will have a keen awareness of industry trends and developments in legislation.

The Candidate

You must have CREO (ISDX) CAD package experience to be considered
Freeform surface design and development experience
Experience producing aesthetic surface design
Experience and understanding of engineering change processes
