Job Description

A rapidly expanding manufacturer of precision components has a new vacancy for a CNC Machinist. You will be responsible for the operation of 5 axis CNC Milling Machines and Manual vertical / horizontal lathes and be able to work a night shift from 8pm till 6am Monday to Thursday.

Commutable from: Bromsgrove, Redditch, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Henley in Arden, Solihull, Droitwich.

Salary: £ 24,000 - £ 27,500 p.a. + overtime + Pension + Life Assurance

Suitable for: CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator, Setter / Operator

The Role

You will be operating various machines as well as inspecting quality standards being achieved in the manufacture of complex aerospace components.

Key responsibilities:

Operating of CNC milling machines (Fanuc or Mazatrol Controls)
Setting up and operating manual vertical / horizontal lathes
Setting up fixtures, tooling and programmes
Run machines as per SOPs and instructions
Quality control and inspection of parts

The Person

Fanuc and Mazatrol control experience
Quality / inspection awareness and understanding
Aware of EHS PPE adherence
Experience of programming desired.
