Job Description

A leading global manufacturing organisation seeks to appoint a Quality Inspector to oversee both manufactured, purchased components and assemblies, to comply with customer specifications. Preferably apprentice trained (although not essential) you will have a proven track record of working within an engineering environment, will ideally past exposure to CMM.

Salary: £ 24,000 - £ 27,000 p.a + Flexible Working Hours + Pension + Benefits, Health cash plan and free parking

Suitable for: Quality Coordinator, Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, Quality Assurance Coordinator, Warranty Coordinator.

The Role

The successful Quality Inspector will inspect purchased components in line with company drawings / specifications from details gathered on the purchase orders. The role will involve liaising with suppliers when rejects are found, whilst overseeing the inspection of in-house manufactured components / assemblies. The role will involve CMM Programming and operating using PC Dimis.

The Person

Preferably you will have a recognised engineering qualification or be apprentice trained, and have the ability to CMM Program and operate. You will have a proven track record of ensuring effective Quality inspection on a variety of parts, whilst having the ability to liaise with both internal departments and suppliers. A confident communicator, with the ability to work as part of a team, the successful Quality Inspector will continually strive for improvements within the Quality department.
