Job Description

A leading global manufacturing organisation seeks to appoint a Design Engineer to produce 3D CAD models and technical drawings to engineering standards. Preferably you will be experienced in producing detailed design drawings using Auto Desk Inventor from within a manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Bromsgrove, Redditch, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Henley In Arden, Solihull, Droitwich

Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 35,000 p.a + Flexible Working Hours + Pension + Benefits, Health cash plan and free parking

The Role

The successful Design Engineer will be responsible for executing amendments to and the construction of CAD models, assemblies and drawings to engineering standards. You will be working within a sheet metal manufacturing environment and be responsible for coordinating, planning and executing the on time delivery of CAD drawings and modelling work.

The Person

Preferably, you will have a recognised qualification within engineering (ideally degree), and the successful Design Engineer will have to have had past experience in producing detailed design drawings using Auto Desk Inventor. Experience from working within a metal based environment would be advantageous as would strong Project management experience, striving for results and ability to work under pressure.
